Diablo 4 is playable now for early access players that pre-ordered the game, but the full release is on June 6. Make sure you keep up with the Diablo 4 launch times to find out when exactly you can play. If you're having trouble trying to find your Diablo 4 pre-order bonuses, we can help point you in the right direction.

You can play Diablo 4 on PC, Xbox Series X, PS5, Xbox One, and PS4. It's worth pointing out that Blizzard has said that there are "no plans" for a Diablo 4 Game Pass release. With the Xbox Activision Blizzard deal still ongoing, it's unlikely that this will change anytime soon. If the acquisition ever closes, there's a good chance that Diablo 4 will quickly make it onto the Xbox Game Pass list

There are five classes to choose from in Diablo 4, all of which are quite different from each other. They also all feature a vast array of Skills which allows for plenty of variation even within the same class! Make sure you check out the class guides below to get a feel for each one and learn about some useful builds.

If you don’t like the Skills you’ve chosen, learn how to respec in Diablo 4 and you can reallocate your Skill Points. You’ll also want to know about how to swap Diablo 4 weapons, particularly if you’re a Barbarian player – you can obviously swap your weapons out freely when you find improvements, but actually swapping the weapons in your hands for attacks is handled automatically.

To get access to the Skills for your class, you’ll need to earn a lot of XP, so here’s how you can level up fast in Diablo 4. One of the best ways to help you level up a bit faster is to change to one of the higher Diablo 4 World Tiers since they offer better XP rewards.

All this will help you along the way to the Diablo 4 max level of 50, but beyond that you’ve got to switch over to the Paragon system.

The Diablo 4 map of Sanctuary is pretty massive, featuring five expansive regions with unique terrain, enemies, and all sorts of dungeons and other loot-filled nooks. You’ll start in the Fractured Peaks region but there’s also Scosglen in the north, the Dry Steppes to the west, Kehjistan to the southwest, and southeast is Hawezar.

Once you’ve completed the prologue and made it to Kyovashad, Sanctuary is your oyster and you explore. However, you need to make sure you visit Waypoints, which are usually found in towns, to help with Diablo 4 fast travel. There are also a few ways to rapidly exit a dungeon to save you the hassle of walking back out, so make sure you know how to leave a Diablo 4 dungeon too.

Rideable mounts are available in this game, so it’s good to know how to get a Diablo 4 horse to help you get around. Although do note that you won’t be able to get a mount right away so you’ll be stuck trudging around on foot for quite a few hours.

Diablo 4 is all about killing horrific foes to get sweet loot – armor, weapons, amulets, rings, Aspects, and more. There’s also a lot you can do with gear aside from just wearing and using it, and you’ll be constantly switching it all out as you collect superior stuff. You can sell gear for gold, but it’s also important to salvage Diablo 4 gear for crafting materials.

By salvaging, you can also unlock Diablo 4 transmog options to customize your character’s outfit. For an added cosmetic touch, you can also select a title in Diablo 4 which can be seen by other players. However, it’s also important to ensure your gear is in peak condition and well as being beautiful, so make sure you know how to repair Diablo 4 gear and restore its durability.

Diablo 4 quests and collectibles

There are loads of quests, side quests, and collectible items to find across Sanctuary in Diablo 4. Sometimes these quests include battling bosses, fetching items, or solving some sort of puzzle – quite a lot of these puzzles involve performing emotes, so it’s good to know how to use emotes in Diablo 4. If you need help seeking out collectibles or completing quests, the guides below may be able to help:

  • Diablo 4 Altars of Lilith are found throughout the regions of Sanctuary, and each one provides Renown for the relevant region and a small stat buff.
  • Diablo 4 Whispering Keys are used to open Silent Chests that can be found randomly out in the world.
  • Diablo 4 Faded Plaques have somewhat cryptic messages on them that require you to perform a specific emote.
  • The Diablo 4 quest log holds a limited number of quests for you to keep track of, but it’s hidden away in the map menu.
  • The Diablo 4 Secret of the Spring side quest isn’t especially clear, so we’ve got a guide on how to complete it.
  • The Diablo 4 Den Mother boss can be found at the end of the Light’s Watch dungeon and is quite a tough one to beat.
  • Diablo 4 Ashava is one of the game’s world bosses, but this horrible, scaly beast is only available at certain times.

If you’re not a fan of dungeon crawling solo, you can always get up to three other friends to join in online co-op play. Your friends can even be on different platforms as Diablo 4 crossplay allows you to all play together, so long as you have linked Battle.net accounts. Although if fighting other players is more your style, there’s also a dedicated Diablo 4 PvP area.
